Cobham Green Belt Website

Cobham Green BeltA new website is now available to help the local people of Cobham in Surrey keep informed of issues which may affect their enjoyment of the local countryside, especially the areas designated as Green Belt.

Many of us believe the Green Belt will protect us from this urban sprawl. Unfortunately this protection is being eroded and Developers and Councils are keen to take advantage of the softening of the planning rules instigated by recent UK governments.

The Cobham Green Belt website (www.cobhamgreenbelt.org.uk) has been initiated by the Cobham Heritage Trust to involve all other interested groups including the Cobham & Downside Residents Association (CDRA) and the Cobham Chamber of Commerce.  It is hoped in this way, we will have a strong co-ordinated voice with one source of information and advice.

If you want to keep informed of the Green Belt issues in this area, please visit the website by clicking here and sign up for our free newsletter. You can also "Like" the CobhamGreenBelt Facebook page or follow on Twitter @CobhamGreenBelt.
