Cobham Conservation and Heritage Trust

Tilt Conservation Area - Public Consultation

What makes The Tilt Conservation Area special?

A Conservation Area is described as an area of "special architectural or historic interest, the character or appearance of which it is desirable to preserve or enhance"

The Elmbridge Borough Council's Heritage Section has been working in collaboration with members of the local community to produce a Character Appraisal and Management Plan document for The Tilt Conservation Area. This document identifies what makes the conservation area special and identifies actions for protection and improvement. The document is now the subject of a 6 week public consultation and your views would be very welcome.

A public exhibition is to be held on:

THURSDAY 11 DECEMBER 2014 from 12.00 – 3:00pm
at Cobham Cemetery Chapel, Tilt Road, Cobham

The document is also available to view on the Elmbridge Council website below and any comments should be sent to Planning Services by Friday 16 January 2015. Please note that any comments made cannot be kept confidential and may be made available publicly.
