2021 is looking up!
Surrey County Council have money they want to spend on community projects and we have the opportunity to enhance Cobham village centre through an exciting and inclusive community project!
The Cobham Village Partnership brings together a trio of local community groups, The Chamber of Commerce, Cobham Conservation and Heritage Trust and the Cobham and Downside Residents Association in a combined Cobham project that will benefit each and everyone of you!
The aim is to deliver a vibrant, inclusive and environmentally friendly village centre in Cobham, principally through the expansion, enhancement and rejuvenation of our existing public and pedestrian spaces. The initial project idea is focused around 3 themes:
- Create a cohesive, attractive and environmentally friendly shopping centre for our community and commercial outlets to utilise, access and enjoy,
- Extend and enhance the look, feel and use of the existing Holly Hedge pedestrian area; and,
- Improve and add to the environmental, amenity, educational, and health benefits of the Leg of Mutton field.
We would love you to find out more about what we’ve got planned and we’d love your support even more to make our vision to make Cobham an even better place to live and work become a reality.
