Cobham Conservation and Heritage Trust

1st Oxshott Scouts Heritage Quiz

1st Oxshott Scouts1st Oxshott Scouts were treated to a Heritage Quiz on Friday 18th October 2013.

Lynne Randell (Schools Liaison CCHT) told them all about the work of the Cobham Heritage Trust and encouraged them to think about their local heritage and what volunteering can do for a community. The competition was fierce and the winning team was rewarded with plenty of chocolate!

Please contact Lynne if you know of a group or school that would like a visit or an activity. She can offer a quiz, brief presentations, and ideas for local visits and heritage trails.

Local schools raised more than £3000 for the Riverhill Project and have had ongoing involvement via bulb-planting and the Riverhill poetry competition. Let's support our children and young people to value their local heritage!
