Additional Information:Son of John R. and Fanny Redfern, of Cobham, Surrey. L.D.S., R.C.S., Eng., D.D.S. (University of Toronto).
Born in Cobham and helped to found Cobham Swimming Club. Served with the R.A.F. Dental Branch from December 1939 at camps in England. Subsequently given charge of No. 1 Mobile Dental Unit, which accompanied the 8th Army through North Africa, Sicily and Italy to Trieste. Escaped injury, though his surgery was several times damaged by enemy action. Died in Italy after the conclusion of hostilities.
