Additional Information:Son of Percy Walter and Minnie Osborne, of Cobham.
Born in Cobham. Won several prizes in boxing tournaments organized in Cobham during the winter of 1938-9. Joined the Army in July, 1939 and served with 36 Signal Training Regiment, Royal Artillery, based in Colchester, Essex. Died on 7th November, 1939 at the age of 17 at Colchester Military Hospital, after being taken ill on 2nd November and undergoing an operation.
