Joined the Army in July, 1939 and served with 36 Signal Training Regiment, Royal Artillery, based in Colchester, Essex. Died on 7th November, 1939 at the age of 17 at Colchester Military Hospital, after being taken ill on 2nd November and undergoing an operation. |
