Additional Information:Son of Godfrey and Florence Kendall; husband of Olive Emily Kendall, of Cobham.
Joined the R.A.F. in 1940. Killed flying as navigator in de Havilland Mosquito NF Mk II DD637 during a routine night defensive patrol. When the aircraft became caught in a searchlight beam, the pilot dived the machine to escape the beam but failed to pull out. The aircraft crashed near Catfoss, west of Hornsea, Yorkshire at 01:30 hrs.
