Additional Information:Son of Winifred Daisy Jaramillo, of Cobham, and Juan Pablo Jaramillo.
Born in Cobham. Returned from Colombia with mother in 1937 and attended Cobham Central School. Served with 4th Bn. Dorsetshire Regt., which landed in Normandy on 23/24th June, 1944, took part in Operations Jupiter and Bluecoat, and on 27th August arrived at Vernon on the Seine. During action the next day, volunteered to try to bring in a wounded comrade, but was killed when a hidden enemy tank opened fire.
