| Additional Information: | Son of George Frank and Daisy Holman, of Cobham, Surrey. Taken prisoner of war on the fall of Singapore. In May, 1943 sent from Changi, Singapore to Japan on Wales Maru. Died from dysentery at Fukuoka No. 6 Branch Camp Mizumaki, Japan, his date of death recorded there as 10th July, 1944. The camp held POWs who worked at the Takamatsu Coal Mine, often deep underground. |
