| Additional Information: | Son of Frederick and Elizabeth Faulkner; husband of Margaret Edith Faulkner, of Moordown, Bournemouth, Hampshire. Died from heatstroke almost immediately after arriving in India, having joined the R.A.F. eighteen months previously. An R.A.M.C. pharmacist who worked in a heatstroke hospital at Allahabad recalled in 2005 that aircraftmen were required to work in high temperatures and could do so for only 20 minutes to limit the risk of heatstroke. |
